I’ve been using it for about one month and a half now and I only have to say that it’s amazing. Recently I’ve been suffering about new stretch marks and I was looking for a product to solve/stop/prevent this problem. After trying two famous brands without results I discovered Science of Skin. I was amazed that this product has been formulated by a great plastic surgeon, Douglas McGeorge with scientist Dr Ardeshir Bayat. I was really excited to get this formula on my hands and try it and now it’s my daily basic to prevent stretch marks. I really recommend it!

It rubs in beautifully leaving your skin feeling smooth and nourished.

SOS stretchmark solution not only made my skin feel less tight and itchy, it prevented me getting any stretchmarks through my entire third trimester AND what’s even better is the old silvery stretchmarks I had on my stomach from rapid weight gain in my early 20s were fading and almost invisible within 2 weeks of repeated application, which is an absolute miracle to me. I’ve always been very self conscious about my stomach even after I lost the weight I had put on, but found after using this product I was exposing my stomach and showing off my bump to people all the time.

I would recommend this product to other mums. I liked the cream, I liked its appearance, it was not too greasy like other similar products can be. It also smelled nice. When I applied the cream it felt like my skin was really moisturised and also it felt like it soothed my stretching skin as well.

I’ve been using it a bit inconsistently, however I’ve still managed to see a drastic improvement in my stretch marks. Will hopefully get more consistent and see proper results!

My stretch marks were terribly itchy and Solution for Stretch Marks so helped with the itching. I also have no stretch marks at all and I am so sure it was all down to the cream, so thank you!

About Mr McGeorge:
An award-winning plastic surgeon and one of the leading surgeons in the UK, Mr Douglas McGeorge has a wealth of surgical experience both within the NHS and in the private sector. Moving from London, he started the new cosmetic surgery unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital in 1993, running the unit for ten years before leaving to continue his practice in the private sector.
In Chester, he developed the breast reconstruction service, introducing immediate breast reconstruction to the region. He now continues as an Honorary Consultant at the Countess of Chester Hospital. Douglas continues to teach aesthetic surgery. Senior trainees in the Manchester and Mersey regions spend time in his practice as a mandatory part of their training before taking up consultant appointments.
He has been a contributor to the medical literature, an invited speaker at national and international meetings and is closely involved in the training standards of cosmetic and plastic surgery as a Council Member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He was President of the Association between 2006 and 2008. He is privileged to be a trustee of the Healing Foundation, a major charity that finances research projects in tissue regeneration, cleft palate and burn injuries. They are now directing research towards achieving scarless healing.
Always looking to learn more and discover new ways to work with cutting-edge science and to improve the life of his patients, Douglas founded Science of Skin to focus on scientific research: specifically, research looking at skin health and scarring, taking natural active ingredients and combining them with cutting-edge skin health science to create a range of products that are scientifically proven to work and improve skin health.
About Dr Bayat
A clinician scientist for the past 20 years, Ardeshir Bayat’s work has focused on the subject of wound healing, aiming to make a major impact on human health through researching better outcomes for patients suffering from abnormal healing and scarring.
Using cutting-edge experimental tools to gain a deeper insight into the molecular basis of scar formation and tissue fibrosis, Dr Bayat has utilised this knowledge to develop new diagnostic and predictive tests to evaluate skin healing as well as targeted therapies for managing tissue repair.
As an international expert in keloid scarring (an invasive, aggressive and recurrent scar type) and one of the most published scientists worldwide on this topic, Dr Bayat has taken his extensive research and scientific knowledge and applied it in his laboratory at the University of Manchester by performing progressive research into skin health and healing. He has now focused his attention on combining science and nature in order to find exciting new natural solutions and alternatives to advance skin health.
He is a well-recognised and much sought-after international expert on skin health, scarring and wound repair. As an active member of the American and European Wound Healing and Tissue Repair Societies, Dr Bayat has published extensively and given numerous invited clinical and scientific lectures.
