Menopause 1.0 features 2 GPs and a dietitian explaining what perimenopause and menopause are, HRT and its safety as well as alternatives as well as advice on diet, nutrition and supplements.
Menopause 2.0 is a deep dive into some of the common concerns that affect the pelvic floor around menopause and what can help treat them.
There will be 5 hour long sessions over the week with leading UK Gynaecologists, doctors and physiotherapists who will talk us through:
  1. Leakage (stress urinary incontinence and urge incontinence)
  2. Vaginal atrophy (dryness, painful sex, increase UTIs)
  3. Prolapses – bladder, uterine and vaginal and rectal
  4. How to strengthen the pelvic floor
  5. Treatments, including novel treatments that are showing promise for vaginal dryness, laxity and incontinence.
Expert speakers include Gynaecologist Nadia Bhal & Vikram Talaulikar, Women’s health doctor, Shirin Lakhani and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, Fiona Mitchell.
All sessions will be available to replay later.
