Dr Carys Sonnenberg is passionate about women’s health and has set up Rowena Health to give her the opportunity to care for more women; to set up a clinic where she can provide care to the highest standard.
Carys qualified as a doctor in 1996 and has been a GP for 20 years, specialising in women’s health and menopause.
In her NHS practice she has set up and runs a women’s health clinic. This supports her patients in managing their contraception, PMS, PCOS, endometriosis and menopause.
She loves to educate and is a member of the Primary Care Women’s Health Forum. She has been asked to sit on its education committee and to speak at its teaching events.
Carys has been dedicated to teaching through social media for the last 12 months and has written articles and posts. She provides teaching interviews and podcasts with wonderful like-minded people all over the world about menopause.
Carys is a diplomate of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and of the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health. She is also a Member of the British Menopause Society, where she is completing her advanced menopause training.
